Perhaps Verstappen to Ferrari, Vettel homecoming to Red Bull is in the cards in 2020? Seb has been chummy with Red Bull heads last few races.

Funny how Ferrari gives an ultimatum as if they're blameless in all of Vettel's lackluster results. Lol

He has to get his $hit together and not fall apart under pressure. He made too many mistakes lately

For such a good race, found this stat disappointing...The F1 race from Circuit of The Americas averaged an 0.51 rating/791,000 viewers, down from a 0.65/1.0m when the race aired on NBC last year. Meanwhile the NASCAR race that started an hour later pulled a 1.74 rating and 2.7 million viewers.

Lol probably. But he consistently qualifies the Sauber much further up the grid than it deserves to be. He was a full second faster than his teammate in Austin and made it into Q3. In a Sauber. Plus he shows remarkable maturity during the race. Vettel is going to have his hands full.

That is pretty disappointing. Not sure if it had anything to do with it but sounds like quite a few people in the US did not get the live broadcast. I went to the race but setup the DVR before I left. The typical practice & qualifying was available but I could not find the live broadcast either - I recorded the evening replay on ESPN2. Decent amount of chatter about this on some forums more F1 related. Very strange.

I felt like the attendance might have been a little stronger during the weekend but I guess with the way they try to skew the numbers we will not really know.

ABC took the Sunday feed from ESPN and made a complete hash of it. A lot of local affiliates chose to run it on their secondary channels, for example in my area it was "6.2" which isn't available on cable. I recorded the replay, which was awful; chopped to bits, no pre- or post-race to speak of, slathered in commercials.

They're pulling the same idiotic stunt next week for the Mexican GP. At least my local affiliate appears to be running it live on their main channel, but I'm sure they'll chop the extras down again. They may even jam commercials into it...

Honestly I would give money to see Max driving in a red car ...
On the other hand , I heard that Horner really loves his golden boy who is born in Belgium . That's why Max got $35 million from Red Bull .
And Mercedes is interested as well ! Check this out => https://www.sportskeeda.com/f1/max-verstappen-net-worth

Meanwhile..Let us hope that the new 2019 Honda engine is more powerful .

He is a very good driver, but next year will be tough for him.

New environment, new team mate, new mechanics, everything. On top of that, the car would not have been designed with him in mind.

I reckon he will be up there, but will be a serious competitor in 2020.

I reckon it will surprise a lot of people next year. RB has been giving Honda carte blanche this year for development. According to some it was already some 40hp stronger than the Renault at Austin. I really hope they can supply RB with a decent power plant next year - then we will have 3 teams at the front next year.

I like Kimi - he's a living meme, but I could honestly care less about his win and all the hype around this win..

People are just happy it's not Hamilton.
