535 coolant

Hi Guys,

I was wondering what you're coolant temperature gauge sits at. I have a 2013 535i xDrive, and I noticed mine getting pretty close to 250 degrees fahrenheit today in traffic and with it only being 74 degrees out today it seems kinda weird to me. It typically sits between the half mark and the 250, but today it was almost hitting the 250 mark. I know the electronic air dam is working because I do see it move when I get home as well as walking up to the car in the morning. I know I'm past due for a coolant change and since I found green coolant inside I will be doing a full flush and change to BMW coolant. I just need to find a weekend to do it.

Are you talking gauge cluster? Mine has oil temp no coolant. If you have same my oil usually hovers 245ish during 90 degree days. If I baby it maybe 230~235?

I guess it is an oil temp gauge in the dash I had always thought it to be a coolant gauge.
