I just bought a 2014 535i XDrive and was shocked to see there was no backup camera - It has the cold weather package & the M-Sport but no camera -

I have been doing research here and saw there are different after market products to add android auto and backup cameras - I have seen several that look the exact same but the prices are all over the place -

Are these all the same? AND is it a decent product that works well?

I had Bimmertech, but was not happy with the quality. Colors looked washed out, even on an NBT. If that's not something you care about, you won't have many other options.

I can only imagine what that other one looks like...

The other ones all seem to come from the same manufacturer as the firmware has been fairly interchangeable for the most part. I think the only difference with the bimmertech is that they further customize the firmware to make it look nicer.

I have one of the Andream models and I'm happy with how CarPlay works, especially wirelessly. Android Auto works fine... when wired. Wireless was lagging like crazy when I tried it for more than 10 minutes.

My Bimmertech MMI has OK colors, but front view camera is sub par, really bad quality.
