So rare..
I live in SoCal, and bmw's are dime in a dozens here but almost rarely I find my fellow F10 around. I have probably seen a handful of them on the road since I bought mine and everytime I see one I like to drive slowly behind and next to it just to get a glace at it's beauty, specially those angel eyes from my rear view mirror. Anyone experience the same thing or am I just halucinating?

Really? I see them daily. Mostly 528i's. Occasionally 535i and rarely 550i's.

what gatoman39 said. i see a bunch of 528i specimens around town. where are you asphire23? come hang out on the west side and you'll see a bunch. that said, it's still a pretty uncommon set of wheels on the road. rare... maybe not.

Just on my street alone, there are 4 F10s, including my own. One directly across from my house (535xi), two others are at the end of my street (528 and 535xi). Totally no mods at all.

4 in the car park at my work - all folks in the same building and all a different colour. 3x SE's and mine is M Sport ... also, it seems I am the only one that does not mind admitting that I have the 4 pot.

My company added the F10 to the company car list for managers. Since then we've got ones in Space Grey, Sophisto Grey, Black x 2, Imperial Blue, Silver, Milano Beige, and my white one is a couple of weeks away. On a good day the management carpark is F10land

Are you a driver of some sort or work next to a bmw-dealer or something?

Everything is relative. A Volvo cost like a M5 too, so might as well buy a F10/11 Its two others in my street and three at work, and see tons of others stuck in traffic just like me going to work. They are becoming popular as drivers-ed cars and taxis too. Last edited by Touring; 07-02-2011 at 02:46 PM.. |

My post is worthless as I Iive not too far from the BMW uk hq and as I drive to work I get a lot of BMW uk employees going past in the opposite direction on their way to work.
So I see a LOT of F10/F11's everyday. Living in this area you have to remind yourself why you are seeing so many otherwise you really would start to feel like the car is very common and everyone has one ps how do I know they work for BMW? In uk bmws are imported to Thorne near Doncaster. All employee cars are registered there so first letter of the Reg normally starts with a "Y" also on the bottom of the reg plate where the dealers name would normally be in small font it will instead say "BMW(uk) ltd" eventually of course this could be a non employee driving it as an approved used purchase. |

I must be living in the wrong part of California. Just went out to a late dinner, maybe 35 miles on the freeway, still no F10 insight. Plenty of E60s, E9x and E9x-LCI. Btw, it's not my eyesight, I can spot a cruiser from my rear view mirror based on the headlights itself.

Agreed, so far not many F10's out there.
Always attentive, I've seen a number of 528i non sports, a few 535i sports, but very few 550i's, and of those I saw the first other MSport 550i for the first time last week. Nice looking silver/black M Sport.
