Looking for 550 6 Speed
I sold my 550 6 speed M Sport that I had to have shipped in from the West Coast and regret it daily. They were hard to find 3 years ago, even harder now. Any insight? Trying to find white on black. It’s going to be a daily so M5 won’t cut it. And not overly excited about the 535i. Thanks.

You are looking for a very rare unicorn, as you already know.
A little trivia from a reliable source: There were 611 F10 550i/6 six speeds manufactured in the following 3 years: 2011: 424 cars 2012: 90 cars 2013: 97 cars 27 of these cars (most all in 2011) were sent to Canada, 584 cars went to USA. Of those 611, 269 had the M Sport Package. So, don't be too choosy. I plan to drive mine for another 35,000 miles until I use up my Route 66 Warranty. Insurance I fully hope I wasted money on. Good luck. The 550 is just a dream with the six speed, as you also know. Bill

Yes, rather crazy.
It all means that they are both absolutely impossible and incredibly easy to sell - all at the same time. Since BMW has gotten out of the manual transmission market, my next car, after many years in a five series, will be something different. Rather sad from my perspective, but time to move on. Nothing will ever touch the E39 from a driveability standpoint. Bill

That's what I desperately wanted when I was in the market early last year, but no xDrive and no N63TU :-( Can't have it all I guess.
