I was running out of road that can explain the early shift. my logs did not always look this good. Once I made the change to NGK 1 step colder new bosch coils and added some E85 that helped clean up the timing corrections i had with just 91 gas. I need to do a intercooler as well to help keep my IAT temp down. You really do not feel a power increase with a chargepipe i dont think. You really notice the differences in your throttle responses it responses a lot better once you step on it but that's just my opinion.
Didn't you have a dp also?

Can you post the part numbers for your NGKs and Bosch coils? I recently had my plugs changed but I stuck with O.E Bosch plugs. Perhaps that's something I need to invest in...Did you do the plugs and coils in one go, or in different stages?

I wonder if the bosch coils are better than the delphi. Amazon has the Delphi GN10571 Pencil Ignition Coil listed at $26.80 each.

I hear the Eldors are the best- that's what BMW uses now.

The park# is NGK 97506 gap (.22) for the sparkplugs and the BOS-0221504470 for the coils. my car is very happy with that setup havent had any problems and I did the plugs and coils all at once.

Thanks...Damn! I just checked on FCP Euro and these plugs run ~20 a plug...Would you recommend these on an otherwise stock 535i? (no mods except for MHD stage 1)

Tried E30 for the first time and switched to an e30 map also. Not noticing much difference.... I guess i was expecting a lot more....a little disappointed to be honest. I Also had issues at WOT with car cutting out while on the e30 map. I guess it was too much boost for PWG Turbo to handle... not sure...

They are both $27 a coil on FCP Euro. I am at 64k miles and am on original coils. How often, and when are you guys replacing your factory ignition coils?

Heads up on getting plugs.
If u look at the O.E. replacement Bosch plugs zr5tpp33-s they're R8 heat rated. But if u look at the Original BMW Bosch plugs zr5tpp33-s they are R6 heat rated. Both have the same part# from Bosch but one is BMW branded. very confusing.
I put the Bosch replacement plugs (R6 heat rated) in my car and BMW told me I had wrong heat rated plugs in my car. So I bought the BMW branded (R6) ones.

I had mine changed with Bosch ones but I don't know if they were the original BMW, or Bosch branded ones. I am going to check my invoice, and see which ones are mine.

FCP Euro has Lifetime Warranty on everything they carry which in my books is worth every penny. Also, their customer service is excellent.

I left my gap the same... but like what ssgm1x said the heat rating is different... I too ended up just getting the OEM one from the Dealer..

Cleaned out my intake box, and filter (it was a little dirty) but didn't have a new filter to replace it with. So for now it will do until I get around to ordering coilpacks, and sparkplugs.. Datalogged it this morning on my way to work, and it is still pulling timing...

Did you try different gas? My last tank I put in it was pulling a lot of timing -4 -5... i think the gas was bad because I threw in 2 gallons of e85 and I had 0 timing pulls

I fill up at my station so I know it's not bad gas.

Mine? ~108 °F I think. When I am in boost I have seen it get up in the ~134-136 °F.
