Help. N63 HPFP DIY Attempt

Anyone replace the HPFP on the N63?

Mine is leaking oil like crazy so I have a new pump arriving.

I replaced my VANOS solenoids before so I assume the pump shouldn't be nearly as difficult since it's right at the top.

More concerned about the pressure lines and the possibility of having to turn the engine by hand? According to some info I read on a TIS site.

Anyone do this before that could give me some insight?

You should check with BMW if this is a warranty item. I think it is good for 10yr/120k?

You will need special software to prime the pump after installation.

How hard were the Vanos solenoids?? What did you have to remove?
