Pulling transmission question.

Well I noticed I need to replace my RMS was wondering if there was a step by step guide to dropping the trans on a xdrive 535i 2011. Also if anyone knows how difficult it would be time being no issue. Ive diy'd my 08 328i valve cover, gasket and other stuff so I am somewhat mechanically inclined.

Yeah, I was quoted 600$ for replacement of rear main seal from a worker @ bmw of toledo. He is a techician there I believe he does side work. Debating on that, or saving for quick jacks to do myself and future underbody work.

That’s for sure a side job price, you would be significantly more if done through the dealer. Honestly $600 is a steal for that job.
