iDrive start up logo

Hello all, I picked my car up last week. 530d Msport with pro nav, I did some coding last night with bimmercode. All went well and turned on quite a few options, I changed my iDrive start up logo to the animated M one, after coding the iDrive reset and showed the new logo. I was very pleased as it looks smart, however it doesn't show the full animation now and I only get the first 2 seconds maybe.

I read online about you have to unlock the car and start engine withing 1 minute otherwise the logo doesn't work at all, I am starting the engine straight away but still only get a couple of seconds.

I know it's not a major issue or anything, would just be nice to see the full animation when I start my car up.

Look forward to the responses you guys can offer.

Thanks, Lee

Yes it is a Boot screen as well so in the system is booted up before you start the car then it will not show the splash screen. I have found that using comfort access and then starting right away I see it regularly. if you unlock with the remote as soon as you unlock it is initializing the NBT system so by the time you get to the car the boot screen is not needed.

Thank you for your reply, sorry for sounding thick but what is comfort access?

Just found out what it is, I don't have comfort access so only option is to use the key fob.

The engine must be started (or accessory mode engaged) within 15 seconds of opening/unlocking a door or trunk for the animation to show.
