wheel offsets
hi guys im looking at buying some avantguard wheels to replace 18" m350's. The wheels im looking at are too cheap to not go for they are 8.5j et35 front and 9.5j et35 rear 19".
i think the rear will be fine im just unsure on the front will i have to run spacers or these be ok as they are?? Thanks |

You're correct in your analysis.
The rear is a 1/2" more aggressive compared to the front. You might want front spacers to give a more similar fitment as the rear wheels. Ride height and tire sizes also influence how the overall stance will look! |

The new fronts will stick out 1mm compared to the 8" wide 350M. The rears will stick out 15mm compared to the rears 350M.

I managed to get hold of these They were left at a localish refurbishers over a year ago so they listed them on eBay for Ģ280 I couldn't say no. Just need to check money's for tyres try and find he beat deal out there. |

Inner clearance is not a problem with those.

Think it's a bit darker then gun metal its half way between ferris and gloss black, but it has some metal flake in it. I will get another pic later in the sun with a coat of poor boys on.

Would I be able to run a set of 19x8.5 ET35 front, 19x9.5 ET33 rear on a 535i xdrive? Any anticipated problems with a staggered setup at these specs? Stock M-sport suspension. Thanks in advance.

Kan se du er fra Sverige :-) Håber du kan hjælpe mig lidt. You seem to know what you are talking about :-) Would be great if you could give me your comment before i pull the trigger. Iīm buying a set of VMR V710 for my F11 LCI 520xdrive 09/2014. Would this be the correct offset for my car as well? F: 8.5x19" ET35, 245/40-19 R: 9.5x19" ET33, 275/35-19 Another option is ET45 in the rear - but that seems a bit strange when its 9,5..? Thanx Last edited by BMWway; 02-05-2019 at 01:54 PM.. |

Two options!
Either F: 8.5x19" ET35, 245/40-19 (will look better with 12-15mm spacers to match the rears) R: 9.5x19" ET33, 275/35-19 or F: 8.5x19" ET35, 255/40-19 R: 9.5x19" ET45, 285/35-19 The second setup has more conservative offsets, but then you can instead run slightly wider tires. |

And about 2 years apart lol. I had to keep them anyway to go back on when the car went back.

I was planning to get this set below as I have the new Sottozero 3 already in these sizes (winter setup). My big concern has been if the ET33 would work on the F11 LCI 520dx 09/2014. F: 8.5x19" ET35, 245/40-19 (10mm spacer) R: 9.5x19" ET33, 275/35-19 So I can confidentilly order the ET33 for the rear? :-) |

With ET45 and the 5 mm spacer in the rear it comes down to ET40.
The difference from BMW OEM size 9x19 ET44 to ET40 is 2,3 mm closer to suspension strut and 10,4 mm more poke. Am I right? |

Your math looks correct.
It all depend on how aggressive fitment you want. 8.5" ET35 is very conservative. Therefore front spacers would look good. 9.5" ET33 would be flush with the rear fenders, ET40 7mm more tucked in. |

hmmm.. Yes the fronts will be a bit conservative.
Iīm not looking for too aggresive look as itīs winter setup. But I donīt want it to look wrong either. |
