I have a Luxury Line F10 (LCI) with existing LED fog lights but I want more light on the road for rainy nights and was wondering if I could/should retrofit the G30 fog light bars.

Since I have a Luxury Line, the front bumper inserts have elongated u shaped chrome lines to the side of the existing fog lights (I have attached a random picture below from the internet). The plan to to source authentic pre-owned G30 fog lights and install them between the chrome lines by cutting an appropriate placeholder in the bumper insert. Additionally, I am hoping to power these lights by splicing into the existing Fog Light wiring so both come on at the same time from the switch.

Hopefully there will be no coding required.

Any suggestions from anyone?

I bought pre owned ones from a seller in Europe via eBay. Cost about $200 for both shipped.

Here is the link to the lights I bought. This seller may have more: I haven't received the lights yet.
Note the part # from the listing and search with that. Be aware that there are a lot of aftermarket lights from China that you may want to avoid.
