Hey man love your build I have the same 437m wheels but I was hesitant on getting the h and r lowering springs because I felt they didn't offer a good enough drop are these the adjustable ones or the sport spring set if so im gonna buy a pair for myself because that drop is pretty significant

Thanks for kind words bud.

I'm not 100% sure if they are the "sport" ones but they definitely aren't the adjustable ones. My garage said the drop is the same as the max on adjustable though..?

Mine's an wagon (obviously lol) so springs in the front and drop links in the rear

The H&R gear is mint imo. I personally don't really notice any difference in ride than stock

Love the attention to detail here, really nice. One remark that I would point out since I just did this to my car, is considering going all the way with that steering wheel and making it look as intended (with the see-through slit down the middle).

You may or may not already know this, but just pointing it out with a part number just in case, and for anyone else who is considering doing it too.

This is the matching back trim piece:

Part# 32307848270 (This is for versions WITH PADDLES only, there is another part # for no paddles)

Cheers

Thanks mate!

Yeah I've been considering doing the full slit (sounds dirty) but will only get it done if I can pick it up second hand for cheap. I'm reluctant to move all the gear inside (although not needed because I don't have the options) to the new backing plate just because cbf. Cheers for the part number. I'll be sure to check with that if something pops up

Yeah, I was wary of messing with the wiring inside, with the fear that I would leave something out of place that would pinch oss.

Since I don't have vibration or heat, I didn't have as many wires as some will. Regardless I still took pictures of everything with my phone. When I had to thread everything through the brackets and holders in the new backplate, I could verify that I was doing it like it was originally. (The kinks in the wires themselves also offer clues as to how they fit imo)

Also, for those that don't know, you will have to unscrew and remove both of the button clusters and both of the paddles. It's not as bad as it sounds, but it's definitely not as easy as the front trim.

Welcome bro. No wonder you were asking about the link to the diffuser. Good luck with it. Be sure to post up on mods and stuff

Sounds like a pita! I actually don't have heat n stuff either because it's a retrofit but not so keen to play around with it unless i get a decent one for cheap haha! Thanks for the info boss!

I'm really considering new G series brake calipers for the next mod after seeing all these dam sexy coloured calipers on here. Doing some research and might pull the trigger.. hmmmm might be boring and get em painted black to go with ma theme or even gold to be tryhard CCB wannabe

From the other side of the Tasman, I've just picked up an F11 and I'm looking at 437m wheels as well for it.

I saw you were running 255/35 and 275/35 tyres on it which are the stock F80 sizes, when running those did you have any stability control issues or was it all ok? Are you still running the same sizes now?

Sorry mate must have missed this. The brake calipers are originally from a Q7/Cayenne with dog bone adaptors to suit. Rotors are 2pc unbranded with custom top hats. Everything bolted up nicely and has been smooth so far. I'm maybe only 40km in. Got them for a really decent price from Ray & Lawrence Productions in Malaysia. A few caliper styles to choose from and refurbed with genuine parts (as far as me and my mechanic can tell anyway)
