Resetting the moonroof
Hi guys - I think in a recent service the battery was disconnected because the airbag needed to be removed. Since then I noticed that the moonroof does not one-click open and close, neither does the shade. I know there is a way to reset this, so i wanted to know how to do this for my 2012 F10 528i.
Thanks guys! |

Can be automatically done in ISTA if you have it, but here are the instructions to do it manually.

Ditto above…the instructions should also be in your owners manual…and if you don’t want to pull out the physical book…you can pull up the owners manual that’s built into iDrive…which also has a convenient search feature. Type in SUNROOF and look for the reset procedure.
