Where’d you get the paint match? I tried automotivetouchup which has good customer service but was a shade too white.

I've honestly always had "good" match with automotivetouchup #300 paint. It definitely comes on whiter like you said, but once you lay over it a couple of coats of 2K Clear, it's a pretty close match then. I did have an issue once when I used gray primer - definitely needs white primer to go on first.

^ah this will be me in 2k miles, changing filter and trans fluid at 38k along with rear diff. 40k I’m switching to NGK plugs and high performance coils for mission performance tune.

My strut brace finally arrived. Painted it with brake caliper paint and came out looking great. Also installed the M5 front sway bar. WOW, I don't know if it's one or the combination of the two, but the car corners much (much) better now. I'm still on KW's default settings btw. Looking now into rear sway bar options. If anyone can confirm 100% fitment of anything other than the 650i 16mm sway bar on the F10 xDrives, please let me know.

I was gonna get both (and other pieces) professionally powder coated, but decided to save the money for another project in the works. I really [really] need to go back to pre-covid life because the more I stay home the more I find myself looking for ways to spend money on this car.

paint your other cross bars so they all match including the bars inside the grill area

Despite ending up with COVID this week, the unaffected wife helped me finish up getting my oil cooler lined replaced (btw, complete PITA) and gave the car a new face. Major shout out to my wife, she killed it. Never picked a tool in her life but got in their with me and helped (by help I mean did 75% of the work) get it completed. Thought we were going to have remove the subframe but only ended up removing the front part of the car through the radiators. It was a complete nightmare being sick but she absolutely killed it.

I'm in the midst of replacing the ambient lighting to 9 color system and replacing the soft close motor in the drivers door but I ran out of steam, I just didn't have the motor to do it but atleast my car is back up and running to full strength. Another day or so and I can get the interior wrapped up and start working on getting her in for a quick spray before the wrap job. Still a work in progress, Covid ain't no joke though, it kicked me and my sons asses!!!!!

Trying out a few different things before I wrap it, not sure I care for it or the grill inserts either. Canards are coming off this week when I feel better. Just trying a bunch of random shit out before I finalize the look and then it's pretty much a weekend warrior so I can start on a TU.

Though I agree with what he said, do what you want and what makes you happy. It's your car and you should follow what you feel looks good. After all, no one else is paying for your mods other than you.

Also, it's def pretty sweet that your wifey was able to help you out with the mods!

It was pretty awesome she gave it all she had. The strap did work a few days before when I had to have it towed home when I lost complete oil pressure on the way home. 9 liters down the drain, and another 9 in my drive way (about 2 liters in my face while I was under the wheel well when the 1st replacement burst). It would have been comical if it wasn't me and if it didn't cause me a total of 27ish liters. But I can tell you that LiquiMoly MolyGen tastes like regular ole oil, like shit.

I appreciate the feedback though, it wasn't to harsh.
