After a thorough degreasing and decontamination wash by panipuri (super knowledgeable about detailing products), I added a few little updates: light switch with rear fog, euro side mirrors and frameless rear view from a g80(at least that is what the listing said, but it’s the same as the x7)

Today I swapped out the front sway bar bushings on my F10. After being told it was not possible to swap bushings and needed to do the whole bar I scoured the Internet and sourced some bushings. I removed the leftover bushing very gently with a wire wheel and painted over the surface and then installed the new bushings. Safe to say the squeaking is gone! $25 vs $$$
Part number for the bushings are the last picture!

The Squeaking has somewhat returned, so I’m going to try to grease the bushings with lithium grease.

I wish it was factory😂. All I did was get a Y cable for the footwell lights in the front, then run the cable under the trim near the center console to under the seat, then I used 3M double sided tape to stick the lights on the metal part under the seat.

Installed my new summer wheels yesterday. I really wish Apex would sell these in a 20", I think that would look perfect.
Please excuse the dirty, bird bombed car and crappy pictures. Tried to get a before/after. Stock Apex EC-7 19x9 all around Yes... it will be lowered. Waiting on one backordered strut to ship. |

On a different topic, the turbo is installed and running. Wastegate is being a bitch and refusing to calibrate, but that'll just be some trial and error with the nut positions. It still makes boost, just won't calibrate and it bothers me. My BM3 license buyer backed out at the last second and now I'm stuck on BM3, and Shoupe prefers the MHD platform. If anyone knows of anyone who wants a N55 BM3 license for $300, please point them my way ![]()

New drivers door switch panel with folding mirror and rear sun blind (next thing to install and wire up) button
Black mirror covers arrived and installed. Now I gotta find decent priced set of black door trims. Last edited by zener; 04-19-2025 at 03:26 PM.. |

(For n63tu owners) Guys so I have a leak on my bottom and top oil (sump) pan. I went through the ISTA+ to know the procedure in order to change all gaskets. I saw through the ISTA+ manual I need to remove oil pump in order to access the top oil sump but I saw videos that you can remove easily the top oil sump without removing the oil pump. Now my question is, do you guys suggest/think is necessary to remove the oil pump to change gaskets because it becomes way more tedious having that additional labor to change my oil pan gaskets!

The main footwell light 4-pin connector is plugged into the Y, then there are two 4-pin connectors. One which is very short (for the front light) then another cable which is 7 feet long (for the rear light)

I think you made a great choice with the Individual interior - that’s a rare beauty. May have to cover the one seat for the second grader lol |

Yes, am in Morgan Hill!. You can come check out both the F10s (individual and the B5 conversion).
It’s crazy how easily the interior gets dirt on it. I need to leatherique it and then put a leather sealant on it. But for the mileage the interior is suuuper clean! |

Threw on the Alpinas to check whether the vibration is tire related and sure enough, vibration is greatly reduced!! Will need to do rear diff bushing as it’s cracked at the top and while at it, will get the guibos done too.

Installed rear sun shade, but did not think that JBE is different so it does not work. I feeded +12v to roll it up for now. So bought correct used JBE for 23 bucks and gotta wait for it to arrive.
