looking for fitment advice for 19" square setup

I am looking for aftermarket wheels in 19x9 for a square setup on my 550i Msport (primarily so I can rotate wheels for longevity). Car has stock suspension with upgraded sways but I may do the Bilstein coilovers in the future. I also have stoptech BBK in the front.

I was looking at 19x9 ET25 or ET35 WITH 255/40-19 tires.

Another option may be 19x8.5 ET35 with 245/40-19.

Is either of these likely to rub? Would the 19x9 ET25 with a 255 stick out (poke) in the rear too much?

I was also considering 19x9.5 but it does not seem like one offset will work for both front and rear without spacers.

Also if anyone can suggest a simple 5 spoke, satin/matte black 5x120 19x9" light wheel in ET20-ET35 I would appreciate it.

Right now I am considering the Rohana RC22 in an 19x8.5 ET33 in a matte graphite as closest to what I want. Cost is about $330/wheel which is about as much as I want to spend on a wheel.

Other wheels I was looking at was the Konig Ultraform in 19x8.5 ET35.

Cant help with wheel choice suggestions but last week I put on HRE FF01 19x9 ET 25 (Square) on my 535 - I bought them preowned and they came with 245/40 MPSS tires. Although the fitment is agressive enough for most, I think I may install 10mm spacers on the rear wheels.

So with that said, I think 255/35 may work fine without rubbing. I am planning to get 255/35 tires when its time for tire replacement.

Thanks for the feedback. How flush are the front? Or do they poke out past the fender? Could you send me some pics? I was going to go to the HRE open house next Saturday to check them out as they are only about 30 min from my house (near where I work in Carlsbad). Nice wheels but I think more than I want to spend... (wondering if they may have deals available that day)

19x9" are a bit uncommon. I see a lot of choices in 19x8.5 et20-35 (kind of narrow for 255/40) and 19x9.5 (better for 255/40) but I think I would need et20 or 22 to fit the front and I would be concerned they extend past the front fender too much (every puddle sprays the side of the car).

Here you go Bud - Quick phone pics - hope they help.

While it may be difficult to judge from 2D images, the tires dont poke past but the Rim does slightly (front by about 2-4mm). As the tires are 245 they a just a tad bit stretched. The contact patch of the tire is inside the fender area.

With 19x9.5 you should go with ET 30 or 35. Lower positive ET means wheel will stick out more, especially if the wheel is already .5 inches wider (than 19x9).

Agreed, however I think et30 and for sure et35 will rub on the suspension inside the fender well. From what I could research and calculate et28 is probably the highest offset that should work with 9.5" wheels without spacers.

And looking at 5x120 wheels, in 9 or 9.5 with the correct offset really limits my choices... i dont like most of the styles available. (I want simple 5 spoke black wheels that are lighter, don't show brake dust, and are easy to clean.) Unless you are wiling to pay for custom offset wheels... maybe I need to play lotto more?

Did you end up getting some new wheels yet? Share some images when you do.

Not yet. Went to discount tire this morning and the rears are at 4/32" when I had them rotated but the fronts are still 7/32". May just get another set of rears to use up the fronts before getting new wheels/tires. Went to the HRE open house. Lots of nice cars ;
McLarens, Ferraris, Lambo, GT40, Porsche, Astin Martin, Demons, Cameros, all kinds of M's, etc. Didn't win the raffle so it will be a little longer.
