You SoCal guys stay dry!
Saw this article on BBC... seems an unlucky F10 owner had to be rescued from the flood.

CA just needs to calm down with their water driving ambitions. Its a new thing for them.

Doesn't help that we're getting our annual rainfall in a couple of months! We got about 20% of our annual rainfall in the last 2 weeks! And we're still in a drought; according to Moonbeam! I guess he doesn't know that SoCal is a desert... |

Hope the car will be OK! If not, it's a clear APB for any second hand flood cars in this spec.

It could sprinkle and Cali drivers would have accidents! You know you're a BMW enthusiast when you can tell us the color of the interior lol!

Sometimes I wonder what people are thinking when they start driving their cars into what obviously looks like deep water.
I pray for that F10 hope it survives. As for the lady I think she's happy to be in that fire mans arms ... : |

even when it's obviously flooded and looks pretty deep or sketchy for a car to go through i still see people attempting to go through it anyways than get stuck in the middle. doesn't help when i drive through it with my lifted Titan and drive right by them

I dont know if the girl getting rescue is really short or the fireman's are Andre the giant but at less than knee high water, this picture looks very dramatic.
Edit: oh i see timberland boots. Total loss in those waters. |

Should be OK as long as there isn't any cabin or trunk intrusion...

I wonder if they carried her all the way to dry ground? The rockers should be shin height for most right?

There actually was a sighting of a puddle on a sidewalk just yesterday morning. It was all over the news. FEMA responded and luckily no one was hurt.

Put a bucket of water NEXT to the freeway in San Diego and, voila, a multi-car collision. If only the incompetents hurt only themselves...

That's typical Cali lol! I grew up there and I didn't realize how normal driving out there isn't really normal at all. Being in Ohio for 5 years now I think made me old lol! When I went back to visit last year being in all that traffic and drivers driving behind me tailgating my a$$ doing 80MPH like nothing kinda freaked me out buy I realized that it's just normal for Cali drivers. Lane changing at the last second... normal! Even when it rains in Cali people still fly up the 15 doing 80MPH... just crazy! Sounds really funny to me saying that especially growing up in SD 40+ YEARS

I dream of a utopia where there are different speed limits based on driver ability and car performance class..... DAMN, that car looks sexy even in 12 inches of water!
