As far as the scratch, I have one too and I'm going to get some black leather polish and buff it out with that. I'll report back on that too. Last edited by Teddylongtooth; 10-17-2015 at 06:22 PM.. Reason: I forget shit |

For that scratch in the back seat, paste shoe polish would be a bad idea -- it is water soluble and will come off on passengers' clothes, and it won't fill the scratch goove. There are leather repair kits available which include a filler paste for the groove, and a color-match dye that is applied to the filler and surrounding area with a sponge. |

I've used several different leather cleaning products ( meguiar's, lexol) but by far saddle soap is the best. Work up a little lather with a moist cloth, wash the area, wipe with clean moist cloth and you're done.

I would watch this video for that. Larry from AMMO NYC is an amazing detailer. He works on a Bugatti in the video so that's a plus!

I get all my detailing supplies at Detailed Image, great prices and advice, I learned all my detailing from those guys (okay and a little from my Dad's auto parts and garage in the 70s, where I was the chief detailed/car washer/detailed).

with the brush it's really soft so you don't feel like you're hurting or damaging the leather at all. also, it helps to get into the cracks and crevices on the seats
