KW V3 owner's, what settings are you using on the shocks??

Especially you folks with bad roads and broken pavement, what settings are you using for bump and rebound?

Thanks much for your input.

Default rebound, 2 clicks softer compression all around.

I am experimenting with default rebound, 1 click softer compression rear, 2 click softer compression front.

I put the v3s on April 2020. Only about 35k KM down the road, I'm starting to feel some wheel bounce over sharp road contours with edges, telling me that the dampers aren't controlling things as well as when new. Might look at going one click firmer rebound all around and see if it dials this out. One click firmer compression did not.

Thank you for confirming that I was on the right path, about a click behind you. In addition to the +2 on front and back bump, I have found 8 clicks of rear rebound instead of the default 9 does indeed stop the shakies on the top of the car.

Didn't you run full soft in the past? What has ended up happening with your repair?

Regarding the repair, not a damn thing. KW sez I should pull the shock and send it in for a rebuild. Meanwhile my daily driver sits idle for a couple of weeks.

I moved away from full soft as I tired of the excessive body movement.

I've mentioned somewhere, don't remember where, that 2-3 years (and not all that many miles) after installing the v3s I have started to feel some wheel bouncing. For the low miles and lack of abuse on the v3s, and considering their price tag, I was a little disappointed.

A few weeks ago I went one click firmer on REBOUND, and this has dialed a lot of it out. Adjustments to compression didn't change what I was feeling.

So overall my settings are

Front: compression - KW recommended -2 // rebound - KW recommended +1
Rear: compression - KW recommended -1 // rebound - KW recommended +1

I've experienced the same thing. I suspect it is due to the shocks aging.

Definitely my assumption, but was shocked at how early it started. Didn't give me "good vibes".

I agree that the wear seems premature. The lack of factory support is also disappointing.
