Apple Carplay HELP!

Can someone please help me in regards to putting Apple Carplay in my 2012 BMW 528i? I swear if anyone can help me I will love you long time! I am getting so frustrated with everything I am reading about codes etc. I am about to sell it and hop in an 86 Honda

The folks in the G30 forum seem to greatly prefer the ConnectedDrive over CarPlay and most have said it was a waste of money. Check it out...

I'd have to agree with the G30 guys. I just finished up a 2 week stint in a 430i Grand Coupe with Car Play. I'd rather have my connected apps as well. Just didn't see the benefit.
