These things are what separates great teams from the good teams regardless of sport. Those who disagree are usually fans of teams where the strategy worked against them.

This is nothing new. Throughout the HAM era, Mercedes have constantly implemented strategies that have got the better of Red Bull. Add this to that list.

That spin was pretty strange. Of course it was coming out of the corner on throttle but nothing crazy.
I know they were also changing diff settings, but these guys are pro's (both the engineers and the driver), so you'd think that what they're doing is resulting in behaviour that they expect.

Yes they only like to twist parts of the story to fit their half truths.

Tyres now constructed with Mercs low rake in mind so even pirelli are bowing down to them as well as Mercafia.
Haas and Ferrari flying off the track because of this, the only thing missing now is Masi standing in front of RB pit with a crown on his head saying I will hold you up whenever I feel like it.

Agree it's a question of timing but there's now another bug in the ointment in that it's been discovered that the stiffer rear tyres suit the low slung Merc more (with RB having understeer that can't be dialled out with these tyres) so I think RB's strategy options and others teams' also with the high rake has been reduced.

mate even if its true, that RB affected by this.. what was the reason for stiffer rear tires? ironically because of Max's puncture in Baku.. so this change is for RB to avoid such incidents.. let them be safe..

besides.. floor rule for this year directly hit Merc'.. RB benefited from it anyway..

The Mercedes tyres got extreme blistering and blew during the Silverstone GP !
According tyre engineers the reason why the Mercedes tyres blew :
Was "DAS" and heat !

Pirelli engineered quickly new tyres with more rubber ...
By this : Mercedes could run with DAS for the rest of the season .

Actually that's really bad news ! Damn....

On third and final engine but same spec as the race winning one. Later on another new PU can be fitted at a suitable track where overtaking is less arduous with the 3 place grid drop.
