Very simple, just pull the trim, take out one bolt and put it through the mount. I also attached some felt where it (the metal part) contacts the trim so it does not scratch it or rattles. If you have a big phone (mine is a Note 20 Ultra), attach the plate lower on the phone since it will run into the air vent. Then you can adjust the mount to your linking. Also got some extra plates from Amazon for future use.

Finally got around to installing the M Pedals I received over the holidays.
Drilling holes in the Bimmer was fun! Although I prolly should have taken the pic AFTER I vacummed up the metal shavings. lol |

With my Dinan pedals had to drill pilot holes, the is no way you are using self taping screws lol, that's some hard thick steel on that brake pedal, they attached with nuts and bolts

That is plastic, you drill a small pilot and use regular screws if I'm not mistaken

For the BMW M Pedals, they attach as follows:
Accelerator pedal are self tappers. Gotta drill pilot holes into the plastic pedal. Then there is also a "full faced" adhesive strip. Brake pedal is nuts & bolts. Drilling thru the metal brake can be a little tricky to make sure your marks line up as pedal is not flat but curved a bit (and a couple of the holes are very close to the edge, imo). I used a small bit to make pilot hole starters then reamed them out with full sized bit required. Very tight and cramped space to get the tiny nuts started on the threads. I had to hold the nut flush with one finger while driving the bolt with a rachet. Then used needle nose pliers to get a bite and hold when tightening down. |
