2011 550i Xenon Halo
Hi, I recently got a daytime running lamp malfunction warning, looked and my passenger side halo light is out; but the headlight is working. I noticed that when I had a service center put the D1S bulbs in they didn't put the flap that covers the headlights in the back; I drove through a puddle and water must've entered it. Is there a way I can replace the halo bulb or do I need new headlights?

No, you don't need new headlights, but with Xenons it's more complicated - bumper has to be removed and the headlight removed (at least according to ISTA, I'm sure there are hacks). The DRLs are LEDs which are replaceable. But there may also be damage to wiring etc.
