Share your lease deals?
Curious as to how much you 528i/535i/550i owners are paying for your lease? Everyone feel free to chime in, the more information we can gather the easier it would be for others to see if they got a good deal or not.
Please list your msrp, cap cost, money factor, and down payment if you know it! Last edited by Jive; 05-30-2013 at 01:01 AM.. |

A good comparison would also include mileage allowance.

Well... I work at a BMW dealership hence the price.
Total MSRP is $63,225.00 I don't have the printout of my lease. I can however get it from the sales department. I'll have to get back to you on that. I think I got the car along the lines of $52k I opted out in getting the Premium 2 and just getting the PDC, rear view camera, Ipod/USB. I didn't need the rear sunshades or the premium sound. The convenience package would have been sweet, but the wifey doesnt like comfort access. The automatic trunk would have been nice as well. I can live without that. |

He paid 7 security deposits to lower the money factor (number used to calculate the interest paid over the duration of the lease). You get the 7 security deposits back at the end. It only makes sense to do if you can't earn a certain interest rate on the open market. Basically you need to calculate out how much money you'd save over the the duration of the lease and compare that to what you could have earned with the same amount of money invested in a mutual fund, stocks, etc. In a down economy, you might end up "making" more money by paying the 7 security deposits up front... but then again, you actually have to have the money available to do it.

Hi there,
I got a 535i lease 10k/36m with Auto, Premium+Cold, Navigation, Iphone and metallic color for $624 (they quoted $552 with BMW loyalty but I missed it by a month and this quote was without tire/rim warranty). I also added coverage for tire/wheel warranty from BMW as they said I live in NYC and its highly likely I will blow up a tire or rim. I paid $1999 on delivery along with $1000 coupon (Drive for USA Event). The car did have 200 miles on it. Was this a fair price? I looked at ED for the same spec and it was slightly higher than what I'm paying now. |
