Anyone get this code? My tuner said it is normal for our setup. I get it almost every time I run the car hard.

122108 - Blow-off valve: Jammed closed.

Have not tested lately. Last time tested only found a leak at the custom inlet and oem plastic intake connection.

I can only make 21 psi up top with 100% WGDC. Must be our restrictive F10 intake system and small turbo inlet.

That happens to me using the stronger spring on the GFB dv+. It's a shadow code that doesn't affect power and it's normal when tuning on our cars.

I just looked up the DG manifold. Looks nice. When do you expect to get it? No more problems getting air into the turbo with that. That would be a crazy build.

Have you looked into fitting an S55 block into your car?

s55 swap would be $$$. I would rather build the motor. S55 you still have to do crank hub fix. DG i steered away from. The manifolds look great but even when your in the case of having the money the guy doesnt get back to you. Have to be on his back night and day and im not with that.

Someone would have to be using a 3.5 tmap to get those numbers. 2.5 I'm hitting 21.9. You can check my bmwdoubles datazap and sift through some of the trial runs with D Shoup. My car is almost fixed. When I get it fully operational again I'll post a new log.

How do I find your datazap files? I've been trying to get MHD to give us option for a 3.5 tmap on the manifold. I had to remove mine when I made the switch from BM3 because it was giving me error codes.

Some of the titles are not super descriptive because I'm going through testing with David.

https://datazap.me/u/bmwdoubles

Try this one: https://datazap.me/u/bmwdoubles/run-...15&mark=80

The tmap option should there when you use backend or custom flash settings. It's under one of those.

Maybe I said it wrong. I used to have two 3.5 bar map sensors, pre-throttle and one on the manifold. MHD does not have option for the one on the manifold so you have to use the oem one.

So the reason i have I the OE on mine is because I can't seem to get the 3.5 to work. Prior to my D Shoup my Mission tune had a 3.5 on the CP and a 3.5 on the intake manifold which worked. I've been trying to figure out how to get that to work again too. I spoke with Alex at MP and he mentioned reversing the wires on the I take manifold.

According to BMS all we have to do is only replace the the CP tmap and click the MHD option. That wasn't the case for me. So if someone one can figure it out please let me know. D Shoup is looking into it too.

Not for our 2011... Since we share everything pretty much same with e60 platform beside engine and turbos lol. We need the adapter or switch the cables. I did the switching of cables. It is pretty straight forward and easy. You flip the outer two and than flip the inter two. So 1234 into 4321.

I only did the one on CP as that is the one used for calculation.

Ah ok so you inverted the wires and you got the 3.5 to work on your CP?

Yup... The F series they talking about that doesn't require inverting the cable are the ones that come with new design hpfp. I think a lot of people don't know the first gen f series shares 90 percent of everything with e60/90 series.

Ahh so you do have the higher flowing HPFP. On my car the 3.5 tmap is plug and play.
