I've been getting away with 6 gallons of e85 for over a year now. Cold starts are a little rough, but other than that my car can't live without it. The days that I cant get it, the car runs great I just don't push it as hard until I get more crack-juice / e-85

Have you looked at your short term fuel?
I'm logging everything with Bm3 since it had more capability than jb4 ?

I am looking to upgrade to a Pure Stage 2 Turbo and fuel system in the very near future, but I am running Approx. E30 Mix with no issues on a '13 535i. I have JB4, ER Catless DP, Wagner FMIC, ER Chargepipe and BMS Intake on it. On a near empty tank it works out to around 5.5 gals of E85 (It's E54 here in AZ) to approx. 10 Gal. of 91. It pulls great but the turbo drops boost as it can't keep up in the higher RPMs.

I need to monitor my fuel, but not exactly sure what I would be looking at.

Just dropped the car off, should have it tomorrow morning... interested to see comparison from my race chip piggyback to a full proper tune.

They have an ots map written for the n55 535i already? Last time I emailed them, they said they need a few days to finalize a map for my pwg 2011 535i since I have one of the older cars.

Are they prototyping a tune for you? PWG turbo required several iterations on mine to get things ideal plus several dyno runs to test the changes. Then again as long as you have remote flashing you should be ok.

Just keep in mind that our ecu's have some missing programmable tables that our baby brother 335 n55's has, so the flash is not scalable and requires some serious reprogramming.

Our cars were designed to be more sedate. I believe that changed though with the late 13 models when they started adding EWG

I got the BM3 module and spoke with PTF. They said: Once the DME is unlocked and you have the 4mb readout from your unlocker we can get started on it.

Exciting stuff. If they are going to do test runs on you then I hope they are not charging. Not trying to be negative-nancy, I just have experience of guinea pigging and paying for labor that should of been covered and then almost blew up my motor. That has not been the case with Mission. Alex is a solid dude. I hope that is not the case with BM3 tests.

Keep us in the loop I'm looking forward to the outcome!

I agree, i believe im one of the first 535i N55 to get BM3 instal... and i know there a big user base here that is interested and i can spike their sales.

Ill work with them, if they are willing to cover costs and a dyno, i will make a review.

I experimented with 2 different tuners as you may or may not know. The latter was charging me for labor upon every reflash that was putting my engine in danger. The point I am trying to make is that PFT, regardless of experience, will have to experiment on your car and in return you should not have to pay for a product that is not ready for market. Once they refine the tune and you concur, then they are free to charge at will. The 535 ecu is a tough one to extract power from. I won't disclose all the pitfalls Alex and I went through, but it seems PFT has the ability to get through them with you. Pending you are a willing participant.

im always open to working as i work in tech myself. As long as i can do the flashing remotely via maps and not have to go into the shop every time

Bmw doubles weren't you GSR Technik first 535 and then u had your issues and moved on with Mission which you were also their first right

DigitalNav trust me everyone is a first at some point. You won't have to visit anyone this is something others can't say BM3 is simply a game changer.. & with the guys at proTUNING Freaks I wouldn't have it any other way.

I wasted 7 months with the guys at BMS trying to get jb4 to run good, so trust me I have experience too good & bad.

FSociety and that's why your my favorite on these boards all seriousness, you the homie and yes GSR now branded as some other name was my first love. The break up was difficult, but we realized that we couldn't have kids together so we separated...wait that's the wrong story. Mission Performance 1st 535 was mine, and its the best it's been thus far. It will only get better with a big ass turbo, shed 3-400 lbs and meth injection.

Also are you saying the JB4 didn't play nice with your ecu at 1st? You had to send data logs to Terry? If so how long did that go on for?

UPDATE: DME Unlocked, looks like the car is throwing an error for the HPFP that the car wasn't seeing before until everything was reset and the car had to re-read everything.

Going to go Tuesday to BMW to get that replaced... then will go back to get the final step of BM3 done!
