Since my door seal was recently replaced and the rattling door noise is still there, I'm thinking to replace both highlighted parts from this diagram. #8 seems easy enough but has anyone replaced #3? Is it difficult?

I sure am glad i found this thread--i just started noticing a creaking, metallic click sound coming from my front wheels. I can faintly hear it when i turn the steering wheel back and forth. It is not loud at all so I can't think it is a bad control arm or ball joint. I googled it and found a very interesting youtube video that aligned with my symptoms.

So, according to the video...it's the control arm ball joint nuts that are not tight enough. (sound is not coming from control arm, it's coming from ball joint).

That's very interesting but my noise does not sound like this. I used to have clicking when turning and there was a SIB for it to add these friction discs between the rotor and wheel hub. Will keep in mind to check these bolts next time tho just in case. Cheers!

Do you have a link for the SIB?

It's not for F10 but apparently it fixes the clicking sound and my dealer did not charge me for it. I can dig in my paperwork if you need anything additional.
