pure stage 2 question

Hey guys ive been trying to read around on this topic but i'm finding mixed opinions. first off i have a 2015 535i m sport, I have a bms stage one and the bms intake. This is my daily driver so reliability is huge. What I really want is a car that drives like stock, maybe 350 whp, remove the top end faceplant that these f10 n55s have. I do not want to add additional fuel. Can i safely run a pure stage 1, downpipe, and jb4 to accomplish this? 2nd question, same question but with pure stage 2, downpipe, and jb4?

In theory, yes, the stage 1 should retain near stock spool but add a bit more umph to the top end.

I wouldn't bother with the JB4 and go straight to a proper BM3 flash. However, I am unsure if BM3 supports pure stage 1, so I'd contact them and ask first.

Well after talking to a local performance shop that specializes in Euro cars and has alot of good reviews.......I am going to leave the stock turbo for now. I will replace it with a pure stage 2 if the stock one gives out. For now I am going to go MHD stage 2+, 5" stepped intercooler, catless downpipe, new chargepipe, and do new plugs and coils while were in there. Hoping for good results!

I’m currently MHD stage 2+ as well with all the supporting mods/upgrades you mentioned. The midrange is so much stronger than stock that (especially around town) I don’t really mind the fact that the car doesn’t have the higher rpm “umph.” When in manual mode I usually short shift before 6k rpm anyways. My car is 2012 so I have the pneumatic wastegate. Your car is 2015 so has electronic wastegate and therefore should respond even slightly better to tuning than mine. Have fun! Would love to hear what you think of the car with the tune.
