Just finished with some mods over the past 2 weeks on 550i m sport. Took some quick photos tonight. Mods include over the past 2 weeks include:

Better Pics on: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/401494...5-series-550i/

Dinan S2
Eisenmann Race Exhaust
2 10" JLW3V3 Subs
H&R springs
JL 600XD Amp
Vossen 20" CV3 Graphite Matte wheels 10.5 and 9"
Falken 452 Tires (285/30/20 and 245/35/20)

I will post some better pics this weekend...and yes I do plan on replacing the chrome on the the side reflectors/clear markers and I do have an M badge on my grille...not an M5 badge (not posing)...lol. Figured I would address this upfront before the comments start.

Very happy with all of these mods so far...zero issues.

Last pic I took tonight after BMW installed my H&R springs prior to putting on the CV3s

Looks great. I have the same wheels coming in a week or so.

Did you do any type of port to the trunk for the subs? Also, any rattles from the subs?

The box is ported due to the sound proofing of the car. Surprisingly not much rattling at all. Tight and clean bass. 10" is perfect, i was on the fence with 2 12" subs. There has been a few occasions where the gas lid has popped open if the volume is up and and it's hitting hard.

Which glass lid?

I'm putting a 10w7 in my car next week powered by a JL 500/1 amp. Had a 10w6 in my e60 and it hit hard but the vibrations were frustrating. Even had them after I did dynomat.

Can u post more pics of the wheels? I love those!

He meant the gas tank lid which has always been common with most BMW's and sound systems.

I also plan on putting a 10w7 in the car too, but for the first time I won't upgrade the speakers. I really like the OEM speakers (HK).

Only speaker I'm doing is the center channel. I don't like the aluminum cone sound from it.

Gas lid is now not closing. The part that engages the lid does not depress now. I guess I have more bass than I thought. Quick fix under warranty.

I had the same issue multiple times so I flipped the speakers facing the cabin and ported the box into the cabin through the back seats and put a 1inch thick plexi glass so the sound or vibrations stay out of the trunk and pushed into the cabin. Never had the gas lid problem again but the car hits insane now. This car is well insulated and when my speakers were facing the direction yours are the trunk was violent but the sound didn't tranfer through into the cabin because of how thick the materials of this car are. Now its great. Perfect and my trunk has no vibrations and u can actually sleep back there while the system is cranking due to the 1" plexi glass backing.

What springs did you use? Looks like you have a drop?

Very nice. Which H&R springs do you have?
Someone told me to get SuperSports.
Any rubbing with your set up?
And cost to lower please?

Sorry for all the questions

How was your experience with getting the wheels?

I was supposed to have mine today but apparently they didn't ship and I now have to wait until the 18th.

Looks good! I am assuming these are Sport springs since H&R doesnt list a Race spring. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

That is correct. They only offer a Sport spring for the F10 currently

Thanks for the clarification. Now is it just me or what but it seems like the 550i sits a tad lower then a 535i with H&Rs. I know they are different part#s and all but they claim the same drop for both vehicles. Around 1.4" But I have not seen a 535i on the forums sit like this 550i does with H&Rs

^Yeah the 550i does sit lower. I have them on my 550i Msport and my buddy on his 535i Msport with same H&R Sport springs.

I'm in your area frequently (near Oakdale Theatre, my cousin owns the Citgo next to it), please let me know if you ever want to meet up. It would be cool to meet more enthusiasts in the area.
