I’m catching up so forgive if I’m not understanding, but to use the G 374 caliper on an F10 without trimming pads you need an F01 760i rotor. The 750i rotor has the larger hat due to the narrow pad. 760i uses a wider pad on the same 374 rotor.

I hope I understood your situation correctly.

I just realize I have been providing you the wrong rotor into to buy. If you buy for a 2015 760 then they will bolt right up without having to trim or modify anything. Install will look like the one I posted previously.

Here are part numbers to search for:
Left Rotor 34116789543 or 34106898731

Right Rotor 34116789544 or 34106894384

Is there a mistake with part numbers? You suggest iron caliper with carbon carrier

Interesting. So the smaller 348mm version of the G caliper uses a pad that’s compatible with the 374mm version and the 750i rotor. Good to know!

DN, if you go through with the swap please post some close-up pics of the completed setup. It would be good to make 100% sure those pads cover the rotor surface properly.

I wonder if the pad selection is better for the 348mm G brakes? There wasn’t much choice when I did my 374/760i setup.

Did you guys use the F10 or the G11 pad wear sensor on the G11 374mm brakes?

They are all interchangeable. Same part, different paint color. The actual carbon is the pad and rotor which we are not using.

Caliper left 34217848313 or 34217848315
Caliper right 34217848314 or 34217848316

Carrier left 34217848315, 34217845817 or 34217849385
Carrier right 34217848316, 34217845818, or 34217849386

The F10, the G11 is to short and won't fit.

I spent last hour reading last few pages but was hoping someone could provide definitive parts list for the G series brake upgrade. For the most direct bolt up option…

Front Upgrade to G30 Brakes
  • Calipers: 34116891303 (L), 34116891304 (R)
  • 374x36mm Rotors: 34116789543 (L), 34116789544 (R) - note these are from F10 Alpina
  • Other hardware (e.g., bolts, carriers, lines, etc.) not needed

Rear Upgrade to F10 M5 Brakes
  • Calipers: 34217845815 (L), 34217845816 (R)
  • Carriers: 34217848315 (L), 34217848316 (R)
  • 370x24mm Rotors: 34216775291

Install Notes
  • Require some minor bending/trimming dust shield
  • Does require pair of 4-5mm spacers
  • No pad trimming with above specified Alpina rotors
  • Factory 19” style 351 wheels clear G30 calipers

You may need more washers in between i for some reason needed 6mm of washers but that should be easy just go to local auto store and get a bag of washers and try them out until good

Agreed. For me the 4mm Case washer was BARELY thick enough; even with the pistons fully pressed into the calipers the outside pad was a tight fit. A 5-6mm thick washer would have done better for me to properly center the caliper over the rotor.

I do end up with a couple mm more wheel spoke clearance, though, so there’s that.

Your calipers look great!!! They really pop behind those black wheels.

I upgraded my G11 upgrade with an upgrade.

See here.
https://f10.5post.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=487
https://f10.5post.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=506

Replaced my upgraded 345x24mm rear brake discs for the F01 370x24mm brake discs.

Brackets that are used in the F10 M5 and F06 M6

F01 brake disc

Different between 345x24mm and 370x24mm brake disc.
