Trim removal tool(s)

I've been scouring the interwebs for the best trim removal tool(s) and am more confused than ever. I bought what turned out to be a cheap set and the ends chipped and broke.

What do you guys recommend for a quality set of tools?

I bought a kit from a company called HCB, called hcb-b1074 - google it, several dealers. Feels strong, and have performed well so far without breaking or chipping. Keep in mind it's made of plastic, so it does have it's limits...

Thanks! I know the limitations of plastic, the cheapo set I bought just bent and chipped upon first use.

I'll keep looking, but after an hour or so I'm striking-out. I used hcb-b1074 as the search criteria but only found one site that listed it but no way to add it to a cart.

Are trim removal tools needed? Is it possible without for one time work?

Not as such - but the shapes they have and the fact they are made from plastic means lower risk of scratching or damaging your interior.

I got my set from crutchfield and they have done the job without breaking for many jobs. If you are doing exterior/bumper retainers I'd get a metal one.
