In my opinion IF the stated gains are accurate/realistic/not controlled, then I would say 20 WHP for $500 is a fantastic value. Very few things give 20 WHP at any price range.

Longtubes for our Coyote cars for example

Sure, but if it's 20 whp for $500 vs 12 whp for $60...what do you choose?

Depending on where the bottlenecks exist in the OE intake path, the MST intake or other similar intakes, may remove a restriction on the higher hp cars. HP/$ is one aspect, but the gains won't likely be linear. I want to see all the comparisons because verifiable data are lacking with this platform. But I'd settle for a stock vs k&n panel filter vs MST comparison on any PS2 or larger turbo car. That will show hp/$, and more importantly, when an intake like this is truly necessary.

I choose the $500 lol. You asked me what I would choose, so that is my honest personal reply.

I agree with you, there are many factors, gains will not be linear but hands down the biggest bottleneck is the turbo inlet, 100%.

Installed the new mst intake last night. Haven't really driven the car much. So I can't say to much on performance. However the sound is definitely there. Instalation was very straight forward and everything bolted up like it was supposed to. I'd still like to pull the bumper and run some ducting on the left side similar to the oem on the right side. Can't upload pics from my phone for some reason but I'll post some shortly

Did you had to relocate a sensor? Explain how you connected the necessary sensors.

No check engine lights or any other issues. Maf is extended via a plug and play cable that is provided pcv uses stock hardware. And for the vacuum line you are given hose which is attached to the stock line then the new intake. All in all its a pretty simple install

this is great to hear. Certainly starts making the question of the value of this more justifiable by having all the parts included to make it a quick PnP bolt on.

Great. Now to wait for a few videos on how it looks and its sound.

It's the same pricing as xph on MST US's site. You're likely looking at their non-US store. Mike has already addressed that here:

+1

the MST website is for Europe, Africa, and Asia only. they will not provide service to the US.

MST Performance USA is the US website , our pricing is the same as theirs but we offer free shipping and other perks for our customers.
