550i Diffuser
Where is everyone buying their diffuser for F10 550i? I want to go from the flat/square look to the quad look but want a quality diffuser. Also, will I just need to add a different diffuser and tips to get the look or something else?

A lot of people slap the M5 diffuser on. You'll probably need quad tips, but those are also pretty cheap if you're not touching the muffler at all.

Cool, I'll check out Ebay for sure. So the M5 diffuser will fit my 550i x-Drive M Sport? Also, my car is black so I could go to carbon fiber or black. Actually, the stock diffuser is gray. I was hoping we had a vendor on here others have used or there was a popular brand for the tips and diffuser.

That looks great! What brand diffuser and tips are those? There are so many on eBay and my Google search but I've heard there are cheap ones that are garbage and want to get a quality one.

Does anyone know if just changing the current square tips to four round tips will work/fit with the stock 550i diffuser?
I found a site, RW Carbon, and the diffuser they sell shows the square tip for the 550i. I used their chat feature to ask if the quad tips would work with that diffuser since they picture the standard square tip, and they said the quad-tip would work if the tips were the same dimensions. This answer didn't help much because I'm not sure if they are the same dimensions. |
