Return of my 550i
Hi guys, I am not that huge on the forums so I assume many of you wouldn't know anything but I had my PRE-LCI N63 tuned on JR Performance Stage 2.
I had tons of fun with the car; for a short while until the N63 problems started to kick in. I couldn't even gas the car without getting thrown into limp mode, and the seals are done and I didn't feel like driving it. I put it aside and was driving my R35 for a few months until the transmission went about a month ago, but I am doing a full rebuild on the transmission and doing full bolt ons at the moment! But for the time being all I had to drive was my N63, and I have already decided to put a brand new motor in it. As all of my funds have been dedicated to my GTR, I decided to try some cheaper TEMPORARY fixes. I swapped the spark plugs, adding Jectron every fill up, some Liquimoly Valve Seal Saver and for the time being the car drives great! I just wanted to share my story and took some short videos yesterday.

I was notified about a valve stem seal leak before my tune at about 95-100,000KM, but I didn't notice any blue smoke until I gutted the OEM Downpipes. It turned out both my Breather Hoses (I believe) were cracked and needed replacing, and up until recently I have noticed misfires on injectors 4 & 7 which would throw me into limp mode. As of right now, I am using Liquimoly Jectron per fill up which did make a difference, but I would still receive the Limp Mode on full throttle. I decided to just swap out the spark plugs, and it drives very fun and smooth (for the most part) but I scanned and still has the misfires.

Are the R35 transmissions still $20k+?[/QUOTE] For a complete replacement, yes. But I am just doing a rebuild with some billet pieces, I wish I could run a full rebuild but it's a bit out of my budget right now
