You cannot say that he’s the most talented QB you’ve ever seen/takes credit for all that he’s won (1 Super Bowl, MVP’s) and then say most of his playoff losses aren’t his fault. You can’t have it both ways here. Again, he’s a HOF but he’ll never be an immortal QB such as Brady/Montana. I won’t get into the QB’s of the 70’s and before as football was a different era then.

Back to Rodgers, there are many QB’s who have performed better in the postseason that I would take over Rodgers. In the regular season, he has been great, however, in a big spot he’s basically 11-10 in the postseason which is hovering above .500 and 1-4 in NFC Championship games. Sorry but Rodgers cannot be considered the best with that hovering over him.

Well, again this is the ESPN view that QBs are the only players on the field. Rodgers vs Brady, Mahomes vs Allen, etc. Which is of course ridiculous. Naturally QBs are the MOST important players but without a great defense or great WRs or dominant running game, nobody is winning a SB. Generally a great coach and GM are involved too.
If you go back and look at all the NFC Championship games the Packers lost under Rodgers, they were not really expected to win any of them until the last Niners game. and THAT game was Rodgers fault in a big way. Yet if they don't get 2 kicks blocked, they win the game (constant special teams garbage in GB for years). It's just way too easy to blame one person or one position for NFL losses that involve 50+ players on each team.

Believe me I would love for the Giants to have Rodgers. For the Giants to have a questionable postseason QB is something I would sign up for. In the modern day QB’s including regular season and postseason, Rodgers is at worst top 5. I’ll blame Rodgers for last NFC’s title game as well as IMHO on that 3rd down, Rodgers had a shot at running it in the end zone.

Winning games and super bowls are a TEAM achievement. Yes the QB plays a big part, but not all of it. Brady is the most accomplished QB of all time and I would argue Rodgers is the most talented QB of all time.

Bengals looked shaky to start. Thought we were heading for another blowout, but it's a game now.

The halftime showers really woke up the Bengals.

Ugh I really wanted that to be over and Bengals take it. KC got very lucky. Game is still on…i like both teams but prefer CinCin winning because it’s been a long time since their last playoff run.

Talent wise, he is the best. That doesn't mean he is the biggest winner or has the best numbers ever. A lot of that has to do with the team.

How he has performed in the playoffs might go to him being a winner but has nothing to do with his talent.

You have to understand he has never had a first round draft pick WR. He also didn't have a running game until like 2017. His defense has been horrible for 90 percent of his career, too.

People look at stats too much. For instance, some say Brady should win MVP this year based on his stats. Those people don't realize Rodgers also attempted like 150-200 less passes than Brady this year. That's basically akin to playing 4 less games than Brady.

So much congrats for CinCin! They very much deserve to be going to the SB! Heck of a game from both teams.

Good game, but KC blew it big time when they didn't kick that FG on 4th and goal in the first half. Andy has some 'splainin' to do.

Great job Joe. Side note, refs love to NOT call penalties on KC! What a joke.

Yeah, there was a pretty blatant face masking after a pick that didn't get called.

+1 Guaranteed 3 almost but they suffered from Fancy play syndrome.

Good for the Bengals, they made adjustments at halftime and Joe stepped up when it mattered most. Now for the NFC game and I am rooting for Matthew Stafford.

I’m from NorCal so in a way want 49ers to win but I also like Rams and Stafford. I don’t follow either team (don’t have a favorite team since Peyton retired).

As long as the both of you are satisfied with your claims that he is the most talented QB with 1 championship AND that he didn’t underachieve, that’s all that matters.

Glad the Bengals won as everyone (not on this forum) have claimed that he was the greatest living creature on Earth.
