EPS error & xenon modules

Hi,

- Today I've tried to code in F11 new steering column after replacement. Power steering was working normally,
however I didn't have any cafd file in EPS module, so I searched for swe, selected the bottom one and coded then. Coding was unsuccessful, I get an error and power steering stopped working. I've never have any errors with coding. What can make the errors, old psdzdata or something different?

- I have one more question about headlights modules. I didn't see modules connected with headlights, only FRM, but I have to code module of left headlight as it doesn't work after replacement. Which ones are xenon headlights modules? Picture attached

shawnsheridan I've tried to flash EPS as per your instruction. Unfortunately I had some errors.

Firstly I've flashed ZGW without any problems and ZGW disappeared from the TAL list. After that I've tried to do the same with EPS [30].

As I understand to flash EPS I had to check: tl_13, tl_21, tl_51 theirs PreRequisites.

1)TalLine_13 -> tl_18 & tl_6
2)Talline_21 -> tl_18 & tl_6
3)Talline_51 -> none

tl_18 & tl_6 are parts of DSC2 and they don't have any PreRequisites.

Summarizing I've checked all available boxes of DSC2 and EPS to flash and I've get an error as attached.

FA Null is VIN issue. You must select "Vin from FA", then hit Read FA, and then Execute TAL.

Do exactly as follows:

1) Read FA
2) Select Read VIN our of FA & "Read VIN"
3) Then do all of the ECU Selects - blflash...
4) Do the Check Software
5) Then select the "Read VIN out of FA" which greys out the "Enter VIN"
6) Then do the Start...

Thank you shawnsheridan , EPS works 💪.

What about xenons? Do they have any separate modules to code/flash? One headlight doesn't work correctly. DRL works , low and high beams don't.

I've attached the list of my modules.

No, you have only FRM Module for Xenon lights.

Ok, I've flashed the FRM, selected new cafd and coded, no errors but it didn't help.

I suspect also a broken xenon converter itself. Awaiting for new part already.

Do xenons require any coding or they should work p&p after module replacement if the car was originally xenon fitted?

If FRM is good, then just install new Light module.
