Rear Diff Bushes - Powerflex Bushes
Our 2011 F11 530d is now sitting at 90k miles and never had any clunking and these bushes have never been replaced.
I see one can get Meyle OEM bush (314 710 0025) for £25 but don't want to fit if it will fail after 40-50k miles. But I see Powerflex now do bushes for our cars, wondered if anyone had fitted these? PFR5-6031 & PFR5-6032 I fitted Whiteline poly diff bushes to my previous E92 335i and it introduced quite a bit of diff whine, so a little hesitant. Doing the bush is a pain in the behind but I've no idea on aftermarket. Did mine a couple of years ago and stock was the only option then. From what I understand, it is a 30-40k deal so now that I own the press tool, that interval will be workable to me. I'd say try the aftermarket, it can't be crappier than what BMW is using.

I also have been looking for an aftermarket option. I wasn't able to find anything, so I currently have an OEM gushing along with the tool I bought off eBay waiting in my garage. I hope to post a diy/video when I eventually get around to replacing it.

Many thanks for your replies! You're brave attempting to do this yourselves. I have done suspension before, but never diff work.
Powerflex seems the only aftermarket option as far as I know. They do a rear bush only on both Purple and harder Black series compound. They also do a bushing kit which replaces all three bushes inc two front ones. My only reservation is increased NVH with aftermarket, but looks like the chinese made BMW part is not up to the torque delivered to it. Did you use Black on all three or just rear bush? I've read that on other platforms that even Purple with oem subframe bushes can cause diff whine. How was yours?
