Bmw f10 battery drain?
Hello there.
I got a strange problem with my 2010 bmw f10 535i.. It occasionly wont start when pushing the start buttom, but the lights turn on and wipers go off automaticly.. there is no light in the dash and it the car wont even crank. Ive tried reading the fault code and cant connect becouse there is no connection, but if i take the negative cable of the battery and put it on again, everything is fine? Thr battery is new, so thats not the problem. Anybody tried anything similar? |

too many variables. If removing and reinstalling the negative terminal "fixes" the issue and allows you to start... it tells us the battery isn't the culprit.
You need to take the car to someone who can do a drain test and go from there. Any module, the distribution box, a random accessory could be on and cause this

I have a 2013 550i I had the issue where it not crank or start I think it’s battery cause I have a battery discharge message I think it can be a fuse in in the engine? Tell me what to do how to fix it?

You're probably going to have much better success if you create a new thread specific to your problem instead of posting the same or similar questions on 3 older threads. That way all of the troubleshooting information and all of the actions that you've done in regard to your issue is in one place. That will help others to help you. Sounds like you most likely have a parasitic drain somewhere (as a member in another one of the threads you posted in pointed out as something to diagnose prior to replacing your battery). |

You state the battery is new but is the battery coded to the vehicle?

As mentioned above, was the new Battery Programmed to the car? sadly it isn't simply plug and play.
