JB4 11' N63 No boost

So my 11 N63 104k miles is making literally no boost. I have the JB4 with the maf disconnected, ARM front Facing intake, ARM charge pipes, VRSF Catless downpipes, 2x turbo smart diverter valves, full exhaust. Its had a leak down check, fixed those concerns, but it make no boost, the codes I do have are for the maf sensors being disconnected. Where should I look next?

the codes are:
102501
102601
108001 maf senor, electrical:short circuit b+
108101
102b01
102c01

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why is maf sensor disconnected?

Car is in a limp mode and will not make boost to protect the engine. Start with maf sensor

The MAF is disconnected because I’m using the JB4. The JB4 takes controls of set parameters and the maf is one of them. Leaving it plugged in the cars super sluggish.

I would remove jb4 and check boost levels. If it makes boost you have faulty jb4/installation /setting. If it doesn't something else is going on and needs to be fixed first. Unplugging maf sensor is optional for n63tu engines it doesn't say anything about n63. Engine should run right with sensor connected on n63 and n63tu

With the MAF plugged in at least in my N63 it runs like crap, unplugged it’s nice and smooth. I’ve double checked that install and it’s correct, but I’ll send pics out to Burger just incase. I’ve bought new boost solenoids from Tuner as I’ve been chasing this problem for the past few weeks.

Go faster band-aid will not fix a broken leg. Does your engine run correctly without piggyback tune and rest of the bolt ons?

I also Highly suggest you run the car without the System and see if it runs normally. NikMN and I are concerned there is something else going on that may need addressing.

Update: still not boost even with the JB4 unplugged and put back to stock. I don’t think I noticed earlier because I was still putting this. At back together and could t really push it to see. But now after going in and out the shop for some other work. We’re all like where the hell is the power?

I have a 2012 550i running JB4 and my MAF's are most certainly connected and my cars pulls like a freight train. Not sure who told you to remove the MAF's??

You might have bad MAF's?

ive had them connected with the JB4 and it ran like complete crap. So what you are telling me is you have your JB4 connected and your MAFs are still plugged in? I have my mafs completely removed and replaced with two 3"in sections of CF tubing

Thats correct. My MAF's are still and always have been connected. I have replaced them due to error's being generated and then no errors, but always connected.

N63 leaves them plugged in, & with the N63tu you leave them unplugged.. Op should check the exhaust valves vacuum lines for leaks. Been known to be an issue with some cars not making boost..

Once I get the car back from
The shop I’ll take another look at it.

OP states in opening few words, he has a 11 n63, so should have MAFS connected.

I’ll reinstall them once I get the car back from the shop. At this we have a no boost situation. Already completed to smoke test and corrected that. Replaced both pressure valves, and still no joy

I should have taken a picture but I didnt. In reference, there are two lines one on each side of the exhaust, they are plugged where they would connect to the exhaut, and I didnt see any damage to them, including cracking

There are no vacuum lines that connect to exhaust.

Before you do anything else take both plastic inlets out and check your turbos.(spin them by hand) What you described sounds like oil return lines not vacuum lines

Just got my car back from the shop. So the car is building boost and the wastegates open and dumps all the pressure. So they are recommending to replace the turbos. My questions is why can I not just replace the wastegates them, are they attached as a single unit?

The turbo's on these cars rarely fail, but based on your symptoms my 1st thought is you have bad turbo wategate pneumatic pressure converters. Common failure on this car, along with vacuum leaks. Typically this would trigger a limp dick mode if they're bad. How do they know the turbos are bad? There is a built in diagnostic for the turbos have they run this? Do they see shaft play? I'd take it to a shop who knows what they are doing....

Also unplugging the MAF is a test for vacuum/boost leaks.

I'd also suspect you have leaking filtered air ducts, PCV system, vacuum lines and etc on top of bad wastgate pneumatic pressure converters (these fail frequently).
