I have a 535xi and have experienced the Jerking, Hesitation, Acceleration Delay... at low speeds only when the car is not warmed up. Even in NYC today with the warm weather, when I first get in before the engine is up to proper temp, the transmission is in fact very jerky at slow speeds. Once it is warmed up it is perfectly fine.

I have experienced "jerky" transmissions before in winter time before "warm up", but never like this in June.

Jerking and hesitation

In2016, I purchased a preowned 2013 F10 535i M sport, 6spd manual with 4300 miles. I always noticed when driving in eco, pedal response was at times numb. I don't think it is like the problem I'm reading in this forum but still grew weary of the numb pedal in eco. I purchased a pedal tuner for under $200 and eliminated the numb eco pro and also greatly improved pedal response in comfort and sport. I never read a post about someone having the hesitation problem with a manual trans. Hope this helped....

EcoPro WILL reduce throttle response. That's one of the ways to increase mpg.

Yes, I am aware of eco pro saving fuel and I use it quite a bit. After I installed the pedal tuner, the lag was taken from eco pro, revving a little higher. I'm assuming my fuel savings are gone also. I guess you cannot have your cake and eat it too
