Anyone running 20x9.0 et 35 with 255/35/20 in front?
Hi, All. Just installed my new wheels - 20x9 et 35 with 245/35/20 in front and 20x10.5 et 42 with 285/30/20 in rear. Wheels fit fine, pretty flush, but I don't like the stretch on the tires. Any successfully run the same size in front with a 255/35/20 tire, without rubbing? Rears have plenty of room to go to a 295. BTW, this is on a 550ix, M-sport, stock ride height. Thanks for the help!

Sorry for the late reply.
No issues with that setup on the 550ix, or the 550i that I now have. The front with 255 was tight on the suspension side, but never rubbed. |

I'm trying to run a 20x9 255/35R20 and hoping for a 305-315/30R20 I'm not sure what offsets I need car will be bagged I don't want to spend the money on LM's and have them not fit can anyone help? If I have to I'll do a 295 but I've seen 305-315 pilot sports and r888

I've tried my fronts, 255/35/20 ET26, in the rear without rubbing, so the ET35 will definitely not rub.

Somewhere has these local would still do the 255 and most likely will do the 295 even though I want the 305. |

They don't rub, but it's really close, and I don't think ET40 would clear with those tires and my lowered ride. The Michelin's are pretty big in size, so other tires in the same size might run smaller and fit. It also depends how low it is. If it's not lowered, you'll need much more load in the car to get the wheel tucked into the wheel well where it can rub.

I'm running 255 35 20 fronts with a 20x8.5 and 295 30 20 on rears on 20x9.5 (yeah the rear does look a tiny bit like a donut) but these sizes make the outer diameters of the tires between front and rear almost identical.

Thanks. Could you send me pics showing how flush they are? Are you running a square setup? |
