Retrofitting Brand New NBT EVO Unit? Is it possible?
Hey,
Does anyone know if you can buy a brand new nbt evo unit from bmw and a new atm module and make it work in a f10 so it has connected drive services? Or does the atm module and nbt evo unit need to be used? The problem i see is that the vin number will be the same for the atm module so bmw might not provision it versus having a used atm module that is already provisioned. |

it isn't if they can, it's if they will. I don't know all the parts required as I didn't ask. I do know it's at least new HU & wiring harnesses. There are also possible compatibility issues with the other systems. I don't know if he ever got 4G to work. |

Here's a few links, lots of info..
I'm trying to get Bimmertech to sell this service without the screen because I want to source/install the g01 touchscreen instead of the f10 non-touch that's tucked inside.. And I already have a iDrive Touch Controller. Not cheap anyways https://www.bimmer-tech.net/category...ystem-retrofit https://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1570125 https://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1838265 |
