Any downpipe can go with eisenmann race exhaust for 535xi
I hv installed Eisenmann race exhaust on my 535. I thought the sounds will be pretty loud through out reading past member's thread. When I first got installed, maybe I was expecting little bit louder than this. I like the sound when I do cold start, but as riding it is not enough for me. Im thinking to put down pipe, but dunno which one is right for me. I remember reading couple of threads about AR down pipe and RCI down pipe. Which one should I go for or is there any better down pipe can go with eisemann race exhaust. I need all you guys help!!! Thank you for reading and hope to find answer from you all.

its a turbo car, it is naturally quiet unless you step on it. Having a cat in the downpipe will also drown out the sound as well. When I had my exhaust installed, I turned the car on with no mufflers, just straight pipe, and it wasn't much louder than with my magnaflows installed. A nature of turbos, they cut up the vacuum wakes in the exhaust leading to a quieter default sound.

Ok! Now I drove about 1000 miles to break out my eisenmann race exhaust for 535i. Sound got little louder and don't smell that wood burning anymore. It definitly got little louder, but not too much difference. I was thinking to put down pipe for an extra louder sound, but what I learned was it's better to hv a tune with down pipe for an extra power + sound which I am not comfortable with it. Im just afraid if something goes wrong with my engine to avoid warranty. So, here is what im thinking. Since I hv 535i, I need a custom y-pipe and resonator delete. I searched couple of y-pipes like meisterscaft, but they are just too expensive. I already spend $2700 for this exhaust and will not spend another over $1000. The guy from reputable auto shop tells me, he can make a custom y-pipe and delete resonator for $400 which im very comfortable to use. My question for you guys is "custom y-pipe with resonator delete will make sound totally different or just little louder?" If anybody can answer this for me? Please answer me back.
