What Are You Sipping on Lately? (Spirits Thread)
I couldn't locate a specific thread on this subject. So for those of you who drink liquor, what are your favs and what have you had lately?
This past weekend for me, some Remy.

I sip Bourbon and drink Tequila.
Bourbon preferences: Elmer T. Lee, Willet, Blanton's, Basil Hayden, Four Roses Cask, Jefferson's Reserve, and others......I love Bourbon. Tequila: Casamigos (anejo) and Tequila Ocho are my favs.

I always drank mine with ice as well. We are such heathens. Myself I like the Aberlour 12 yo scotch as well. Sinfully chilled with ice.

My go to is Glenlivet 12 yr old on the rocks though usually on the weekends. Have maybe 10 different single malts for some variety when I get the urge. Keep several bourbons on the bar but I'm not a bourbon drinker.

You need to level up and grab some ice molds so you can have 1 solid cube of ice instead of freezer driblets! I picked up some silicone molds for xmas from the fam and it makes me feel fancy as F just to watch the bourbon pour over that round, beautiful ice mold.

I keep just about everything on hand for company and parties. Back in the day, I dated a couple of bartenders and spent alot of time at bars. So I've had the opportunity to sample damn near any and all there is. It's funny how my tastes or preferences have changed since my 20's and 30's. I used to drink bourbon and scotch more. Then I migrated towards vodkas and gins. Nowadays (45) my preference and what I keep several bottles of, is premium Rums! So delicious. I'm talking sipping Rums like Dos Maderas, Zaya, & El Dorado. And of course cognac has always been a fav. But I have a VERY nice selection of fine Tequilas as well. It helps that my wife has family that bring us bottles often from Mexico.

*edit* I thought you mint the nylon cubes that freeze. I also have the large square molds as well. Ice machine is so convenient. |

I'm just finishing up whatever is the least remaining in the bottle. My niece has a new hobby of decorating bottles and called me as a source.

Nothing hard for me. I drink a large glass of wine a day, every day, but rarely more than that and never within two hours of when I might be driving. I've been buying wine and laying it down almost since turning legal age. This is what's on tap for Feb's dinnertime.
