Cool What did you do to your 5 series today?

Hey guys! Here's a very popular thread from my Nissan Titan forums and I thought it would be really cool to have one here! basically you just post whatever you did to your 5er since we all love doing things to our car's whether it's washing the car, lowering it, adding a spoiler or even just trying out a new air freshener. Just post what you did... I'll start.

Car has a maintenance appointment for tomorrow and being my car is too low I raised it back up to what I thought was high enough to get it in their lift
One thing I gotta say is having a garage to work out of...even if it's late at night!

Also, having a low profile Jack makes lifting the car that much easier vs driving up in 2×4's and scissor jacks

Here's the front before:

And after:

What's great about these KW coilovers is how easily accessible they are to make the necessary adjustments

Using the plastic bag method so I don't scratch up my BMS Titanium lugs!

ALL DONE! about an hour to do all 4 corners

Today I...curbed my rear right wheel. Within 2 weeks

Cleaned it up with some sanding, so its smooth atleast now. Will be applying paint sometime soon. I honestly barely notice it already. Pics are initial damage.

You don't necessarily have to post pictures but pictures says a thousand words...and plus we're picture whores so let's see em'!

ItsBloo sorry to see that! I know the feeling

did get to pickup my car from the dealership this morning for maintenance and a recall! maintenance performed was oil change and air filter. also, SA noted that the plugs also need to be changed and while they're are at it change the wiper blades too there was a recall that needed to be done which i forgot what the recall was for but i'll go back through my paperwork to find out what the recall was. also, my rear brakes will need to be replaced at 2900 more miles and because i learned my maintenance and warranty expires in May i tried to see if they could go ahead and change the rear brakes.

for the inconvenience of the recall i got a $200 Visa card which all i had to do was go online and register.

so this morning the SA said the rear brakes are fine and no need to change early and when asked how much would it cost me when i do come back to get it done i was quoted around $900 i can do brakes and i've done brakes on all my vehicles. however i know about the electronic ebrake issue and i know from past threads in can be done without actually having the dealer do it. if anyone knows of a YouTube video on how to do it let me know i greatly appreciate it!

normally i don't condone this type of behavior,

but the black plastic tabs that cover the screws for my license plate frame, broke.

and I take the plate off once a year from now on to remove the registration sticker, as someone stole last yrs sticker off my DD when i was in SF this summer. (i had like 9-10 piled on there)

so this way i can easily remove the screws to use an exacto knife to remove the old sticker and put the new one on...

but those steel screws stuck out like a sore thumb so i took a black sharpie to them

specially since there's nothing silver/shiny on my car any more
