I never used the stock paddles on the new wheels so I cant say, sorry. I'm liking the cf paddles a lot though.. the feel and stuff is great! Considering wrapping the wheel in alcantara though.. hmmm

Remind me what front lip you went with? It flows well with the bumper.

I was looking at the Haman-style myself. Too many people have the lip that comes up over the bumper under the foglights, and it just doesn't look right to me.

Thanks mate!

Mine's an Arkym style one

Haman style is pretty similar but imo a bit more aggressive looking because it flares out on the sides. The over the bumper one you speak of is the MPerformance one I think and yeah a few ppl have it. It's nice though. I was thinking of getting that style originally but didn't think it looked great in cf. Better painted that one

Do you happen to have a shot of the lip from the side? Kind of like this angle:

Debating on my next lip and I can't find many pictures of it in that angle.

Thanks. Yeah, I like the flares on the outside edge, but now I'm drawn to how clean the style of your lip is lol. The Hamman style is still expensive in CF, so I my look around for this Arkym one

Something to also keep in mind for the HM one, the flares make it hard to clean the spot right behind them. You need to do a flossing movement with a towel, can be annoying. I have it and it's one of the main reasons I'm moving away from the HM style.

I don't have a pic that side on but the front lip tucks in and doesnt flare up the sides at all.

I'll try get an actual pic soon.

Yeah in CF the HM and Arkym are pretty similar priced. Cheaper the better imo because you can just replace it if u rek it. Mine was about $400 aud a few years back

Yeah I'm finding the Akrym Style for $400+ US in CF, and the Hamman style CF I've found cheapest at $280 US on eBay

I had the same issue with new paddle shifters, you can replace new paddle shifters insides with stock ones and then you should get the same feel as stock paddle shifters. On the side of the paddle shifter you'll see a pin, push it carefully and paddle shifter will come apart. Open it slowly and watch for the spring popping out, swap the insides and you are done.

The ones I have already use the stock internals, it only changes out the back and the actual paddle, the rest of the paddle is reused.

I bought MMR billet paddles, supposed to arrive on Monday, I'll see how those feel.

Mine are the same as yours. Do you think it's possibly the way you swapped it over or something? Didn't tighten the screw properly or it just wasnt seated right? I guess they are less "solid" than the stock paddles but i'm still lovin them!

Maybe its the material the paddles are made out of because the stock paddles are heavy af in comparison

I think it's just tolerances paired with a longer lever. When I kinda wiggle the top of the paddle, it moves a solid 1cm side to side. Given that it's substantially longer than stock, it might just be that the paddle internals weren't designed for such a long lever force.

Hopefully the MMR paddles being a solid billet piece, including the backing, will help improve the feel.

Fk sake! AC evaporator is leaking big time. Can't even hold gas for 2 weeks. Pretty decent job to replace apparently (complete dash out) but AC is essential in Aus in summer so I gota get it done. Sigh, cant catch a break with this car!

My F11 rear is always dirty
