I mean, with enough time and money yea sure.

The teeth count on the hub is completely different between the G30 and F10, so you'd have to somehow weld on the F10 backing plate thing to the G30 wheel.

With all that being said, we need BimmerG80 to chime in and tell us exactly
how he did it.
@bimmerG80 where are you man?? Time to set the record straight.

If all you want is the 3-spoke the F10 M-Sport wheel is very, very similar in looks and a direct fit.

Yea to be honest, not sure why people would want a G30 wheel in their F10. It's just a slightly different styled F10 M Sport wheel, and looks like a ton of work to get working. For one, the steering wheel heater button on the F10 is mounted on the column, but the G30 is on the wheel.

I guess there's no follow up or guidance on how this was done? Lol

Wondering how much this cost and how much functionality was retained.

Looking for a similar wheel with a flat base/bottom and paddles. I have a pre-LCI 2012 520d (non M sport) so it doesn’t have the paddles, will need some coding to add the paddles i guess

I mean, it's kind of obvious that nothing would work. The wheel is from an entirely different generation, the buttons are probably sending out signals the modules don't recognize at all. Steering wheel swaps like isn't just plug and play.

It's probably not fake. OP probably just doesn't care to explain how he did it.

Between this steering wheel and the f steering wheel there is no difference they both have the steeringcluster with the same optioncodes. The newest steering wheel has other optioncodes so thats why that one didnt work for sure. Also the m5 witch is a F90 is a F series with this steer and there it works.

This one has the same buttons, same optioncodes so how can the signal be different. I allready found a couple of sites where they say with this type of steer is plug and play. But there is nothing to be found on what to do. HAHAHA

Have you tried to use your steering wheel harness with modules on the new steering wheel?
