Official F10/F11 5-Series Front Lip Spoiler / Splitter Reference

I have a question about lips. I have seen both poly and Fiberglass lips all over the Internet which one should I get?

I wouldn't get fiberglass.

So I installed an aykrm spoiler on my car and it blew off (almost literally)within 10 miles on the road...could not get the front to stick on with 3m tape and the down force caused the screws underneath to fail and it broke off on the right side. It dragged under car and it's ruined....

Not sure how else to install it but it looks like you need a ver stron apoxy and a heck of amount of screws to keep them on.

Any help on how you guys keep them on would be very appreciated.

I installed this new spoiler today....would not ever use this spoiler again...poor fit quality and over all junk. Looks good but my bet is that it will not stand the test of time. (1 year) oh well looks good....

Hello, i would like to answer on your question, because many of my friends have got the front lip from Perl Carbon.

The quality of the lip is very good - nobody of my friends have got any problems with them. The fitting of the lip is very easy - u get some bolts and u can fitting them easily with the bolts. The lip have got the corresponding holes for the fitting.

If u where here in Germany, the Perl Company can fitting them for u as a service...but its so easy, that it shouldnt be a problem for urself.

Fantastic reference! I need an opinion from first hand experience from those with the Hamann lip (on an M-sport bumper). Do these cause a lot of scraping? On stock suspension would scraping be an issue?

Just thought id share some pics of the 3D lip i just threw. I thought it'd be easier than waiting for, paying for, and traveling to get a new M-Sport or M5 bumper kit. All in all I think it turned out pretty good, Subtle but nice

The 1st 3 are with old with non M front bumper & No lip.

The ones after are With 3D lip painted & installed

I'd just get them if I were you. The seller has already sold 32 of them and you have a 30 day return policy if they don't fit well.
