295 or 285/30/20 on a 10.5 inch rim.

Hello, anyone have pics of both? I'm trying to look at the taper of the sidewall or will it be square?

Rear is 20x10.5 et32 285/30/20
Front is 20x9 et28 255/35/20
Th rear has a little stretch to it and the front is pretty much even with the wheel.

Im guessing the 295's would be pretty much dead even with the wheel very similar to my front wheels/tires

Example of 245 on 8.5" and 285 on 10.0"

Guys, my experience says, the square (and maybe the perfect) fit is: 8.5" to 245, 9.0" to 255, 10.0" to 285, 10.5" to 295. Otherwise you will have either stretch or donut. I would avoid both deviations on my car, because of different reasons.

Have a look at my summer tires sitting on balcony. They are 8.5X20 245 and 10.0X20 285, Michelin PSS. Tires have a kind of a sharp sidewall flange (red outline) at the 245 fronts, probably to protect the rim. So the rubber pokes 4 mm out at fronts (flange) and 1 mm at the rears, and sits flush like hell, see the picture:

My 295's on my 295 michelin pass hit the fender on big dips. I had to switch
back to 285s.

hey friends, Going to do a 20x9 and 20x10.5 with 255/35/20 and 285/30/20.

My only concern is rubbing after dropping the car on coilovers..?

What are your guys thoughts? Will it work? I have been researching for quite some time and haven't been able to come to a conclusion..

Maybe going to a less wide wheel will work better?? any feedback is much appreciated.
