Ok, prices are legit, but are the materials well built? I don't mind paying to paint the pieces I want but for the parts I want, the price is right on if I can get some user feedback. I just can't justify the price some of these guys charge. Felt overpriced before when I got some schnitzer body parts that held up well over the years, but let's be honest it's just hardened to plastic.

It's alright. They're responsive and seem to actually provide support for their products, but in the end the fit and finish won't be the same as a much more expensive brand. Their M sport bumper is about a 90% fitment.

The materials they use is the same as OEM usually, it's mostly the fitment that is off.

Thanks. I might roll the dice on one part just to see how it fits. 90% isn't good enough, but for the price might be worth it if the fit is more like 99%. This isn't a show car but I won't have it looking off.

What is the part you're looking into?

The bigger it is, the harder it is to get that 99% fitment. More surface area for things to be off on.

I bit the bullet and got the roof spoiler. We'll see how the install goes once I tape up and find the spot.

[IMG][/IMG] ok so to be honest this is my first foray into home install. The car is dirty right now but it's raining and I'm in the Bay Area so it stays in the garage for now. First impressions: paint quality is great. And I mean great. Typical abs plastic and as someone said before. It's close in measurement. That is, if your goal is to cover the window. It does that well with only mm in gap between spoiler and window. Now if your goal is no gaps (which I want but understand the challenge with the weather stripping), this won't do the trick. I've looked at lots of pictures of installs and don't think mine is half bad (but would love pointers/suggestions). That being the case it motivated me to order a jet black trunk spoiler. So that will be here soon enough. I want to look sporty but not too sporty. More touches here and there then the full blown exterior kit. Note I will keep this on for now and see if I get used to it. Had an ac schnitzer authentic one on my e46 but life and priorities change. The price they want I can't justify with the fam.

Quick update. The lip I ordered from them was great. The mounting hardware... not so great. Small 10mm nuts, absolutely not big enough to use on their own without a washer of some kind to spread the load. Ripped out of the bumper at one side at around 75mph on the highway. Not thrilled, contacted them regarding it so we'll see how they respond.

Adds a ton of HP and allows for longer durations during attempts to break rubber from asphalt.

Update: They're blaming me for the hardware. Say if I knew it wouldn't hold, I shouldn't have used it, so it's my fault and they're denying the warranty. The only reason I know they wouldn't hold is BECAUSE they ripped out, so hindsight is 20/20. I initially trusted them to know their shit and assumed it would be fine. Disputing with eBay.

Unfortunately I think their feedback is a bit fair albeit an offer to fix the issue at least partially should be there. I mean if you cooked a meal and the pan broke and you superglued a handle on that then broke, would you blame the pan maker, even though it might be a poorly made pan. It's tough because of the location of the part, it's going to take the brunt of whatever comes at you. so just because you sought to improve poor materials (specifically the screws) takes their control over what the materials should and should not do away. Hence not doing anything about it. A lip spoiler your probably looking to replace if cheap enough (like I am) probably every couple years. Alternately you can research how to better enforce the screws you put in and see if your own engineering can solve the problem. Or overpay for something that's going to get hit with everything you drive through.
